Probably worth the money for a GK in training
Purchased for son who is about 5’9 and 180lb. Solid but not chunky. This fit well and he said it does make a difference in his comfort and preventing scrapes and bruises. He is new to GK so my impression is that this is probably a good investment especially while he’s still learning better techniques. Seems well made. I will say that he doesn’t love the feel of it and insists on wearing something under it.

Great protection and durability
My son loves his we have a few . He combines these with the storelli GK pants .great quality, fit and durability. I do not put these in the dryer . That way they last super long .

Awesome but so small
Number one son is a soccer goal keeper. He’s 5’10” and 145 pounds. I wanted him to have a good protection shirt that covers the elbows for training days and I knew storelli would fit the bill. He wears storelli padded compression shorts in small but could probably go to medium soon. Thanks to the reviews I got this shirt in large and it fits like it should — fairly snug and annoying to take off.The shirt itself is fine. Slightly padded compression shirt. Doesn’t slip over the elbows so perfect for keeping skin protected when diving and sliding through the grass. I’m happy with it. He’s happy with it. Come July in the Florida heat I’m sure it will be left at home but for now it’s just what I wanted to see.Shirt is holding up to 3 harsh training sessions per week. No snags. Storelli padded compression shorts of same material have lasted over a year so I expect the same or better with this.

Make yourself unstoppable
This is a very good undershirt for keepers. I think everyone should have this one, it makes you feel a lot more confident to dive and slide for the fastest and hardest shots.It has light weight protection that still protects very well. I love the protection in the middle of the chest for hard balls to land soft and safe. The other protection is good as well, excpet that the elbow protection which, in my opinion, sits a little to high up and makes only like a third of the protection to actually touch your elbow. This is not a huge problem for me because the jersey I wear on top of this shirt has proper elbow protection and takes care of that.The size is, as mention from the manufacturer, very tight. I wear an XL and I am 5″11 and 190 lbs. I have to really twist here and there before I get it on, but when it is in place it really stays there and the padding never move around, which is the purpose with the slim design, however I think it could be a slightly looser fit. Keep that in mind, if you ever doubt about what size to get, definitely go a step up with this shirt.

Please Note: This is a great product
Great product from a great goalkeeper company, great quality, and great fit, most people complain about not having enough padding but that’s how it was design to be. It’s for support, and a great confident builder for your son/daughter, or whom ever you buy it for, it’s not to fully be a body shield. People would think is a Jersey, but it’s not, it’s a undershirt, not meant to be a Jersey, or else it would tare,obviously. Over all a great product for people that are looking to get rid of the fear of the ball, and saving/hard training as well, helpped me out through my high school goalkeeping games/trainings. Hopefully this review would help you guys out.

My son loves this and the protection
My son is a very active goalkeeper that will dive at any ball. He loves the protection of this and never plays goalkeeper without it. It helps give him confidence as a keeper, so this was a wonderful purchase. Will buy again when it wears out of my son gets too big for it.

AWESOME GEAR!
I am a soccer goalie in Tucson AZ, and the fields here are horrible (especially in the goalie box). It was difficult for me to dive without being scared of getting bruised, scraped, etc. This product brings out the full potential of soccer goalies. Not this this only protects the goalie from the impact itself, but the material prevents scrapes and burns. The sizing is very accurate, the pads are thick and dense (not like other jerseys), and it also provides rib cage protection (very important for low dives). I would recommend this to every goalie.One problem: the collar is a little tight on the neck, but just a minor complaint.

Not just for Goalies.
My son plays soccer year-round and like most teams in cold weather areas, he plays indoor soccer in the winter. Depending on where the team plays the surface varies from turf to hardwood and other more hard/abrasive surfaces. I was done seeing turf burns all over his body after minor falls while playing….elbows, shoulder, chest so I was looking for a solution.He has been wearing the Storelli leg guards and sliding shorts for years and loves them so I went to them first looking for a solution and the goalie shirts were exactly what I was looking for. Not only do they provide the protection we wanted the shirt is made for athletes……meaning the protection does not hinder play. My son would not wear anything he felt would slow him down in any way.While we’ve only had this shirt for a short time and are happy, given how well the other Storelli products have held up to constant washing we are confident he will outgrow this shirt well before it wears out.Highly recommend this shirt.

Got it for elbow protection
I got this for elbow protection in particular, although other body protection is also nice (primarily indoor soccer use). As someone else noted, if in doubt buy larger size – it is tight. Only shortcoming of the product is that the 3/4 length sleeves will ride up during a match, and then elbow protection still covers points of elbows, but forearms are left more exposed. Some mechanism to tighter the “cuff” on the sleeves would be good to prevent it from riding up. If you look at the picture, you can see how elbows are protected versus forearms – and that gets to be more the case as the sleeves (which are the same tight compression material) work their way up. Overall, more costly than separate elbow pads, but I like it.
